The Annapolis Kappa Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) Organization founded and chartered in the State of Maryland in 2001 as a fundraising engine for the Annapolis (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.   Initially, the funds raised by the foundation through its different fundraising activities were used solely to award scholarships to deserving African American male high school graduates, who were pursuing an undergraduate degree and had enrolled in a 4-year college or university. Since 2001, over $90,000 in scholarship monies has been awarded to young African American males.  
Over the years, the foundation expanded its mission and in addition to providing scholarships to college bound African American males; it now provides funds to the following entities:
● The Samuel P. Massie Academy, Forestville, MD
● Annapolis High School, Annapolis, MD
● Annapolis Boys and Girls Club, Annapolis, MD
● Anne Arundel Community College, Arnold, MD
● Other deserving charity organizations that supports the underprivileged areas in
Anne Arundel County
